I. Introduction
The maxmoge MC8787 is a high-performance internal server data cable designed to connect Mini SAS 4i controller cards (RAID/HBA) to SAS drive backplanes. It fully complies with the SAS 2.0 (6Gbps) protocol, featuring dual SFF-8087 36-pin Mini SAS connectors with SUS304 stainless steel latches, and 30AWG twinaxial shielded cable. Engineered for 1U/2U rackmount servers, workstations, RAID arrays, and storage systems, it ensures reliable, high-speed data transmission with excellent signal integrity.
Typical applications include RAID card to storage backplane connections, internal server storage expansion, workstation SAS drive connections, and industrial storage systems.
⚠️ Note: This is an internal cable. Verify that both your RAID/HBA card and drive backplane use the SFF-8087 interface. This cable supports a maximum of 6Gbps; for 12Gbps applications, please use SAS 3.0 compliant cables.
