I. Introduction
The maxmoge MC4387 is a high-performance internal server data cable designed to connect SAS HBA/RAID cards to SAS drive subsystems (backplanes, drive cages). One end features the SFF-8643 high-density Mini SAS connector (36-pin, plastic body, internal use), and the other end features the SFF-8087 Mini SAS connector (36-pin, plastic locking interface). The cable is fully compliant with the SAS 3.0 specification (Rev 5a), supporting 12Gbps data transfer rates and backward compatible with SAS 2.0 / SATA.
Typical applications include RAID card to storage backplane connections, rackmount servers, workstations, RAID arrays, and storage enclosures.
⚠️ Note: This is an internal cable. Verify that your controller (HBA/RAID card) uses an SFF-8643 interface and the backplane or drive side uses an SFF-8087 interface.
